According to circulating rumors, yes, rumors an alleged Somaliland presidential debate is to take place for the first in the country on the 18th October 2017.

As Somaliland remains a rare example of functioning democracy in the Horn of Africa. Somaliland will have its first ever Presidential Election Debates in 2017, organized by Inspire Group.

Accordingly the APD shall host a presidential debate in which the three political parties and respective candidates shall publicly inform on their manifesto.
