In the wake of revelations that Nationalist supporters are attempting to flood the upcoming leaders’ debate at the University of Malta with as many PN fans as possible, a student has started an online petition for the debate to be held outdoors, making it open to all those who wish to attend.
The debate between the political parties and leaders at the university, one of the highlights of an election campaign will now be held at 1pm on Wednesday, a meeting of representatives has just decided.

The debate tonight took place at Intercontinental Hotel, St Julians, between the Nationalist Party Leader Lawrence Gonzi, the Labour Party Leader Joseph Muscat and the Alternattiva Demokratika Chairperson Michael Briguglio.
