Want to ‘bring the nation together’? Have a leaders’ TV debate

Our PM says she wants to “unite Britain”, to bring every part of the nation together. But how does she even begin to do that if halfway-proper debates – scoring over 7 million then over 8 million viewers in 2015 – are off the agenda?
