Let this be the last California election in which a front-runner for governor or U.S. Senate can dictate the time, place and format of a debate. There were two reasons voters did not get a chance to watch and compare the candidate for these two high-profile offices on statewide television in prime time: Gavin Newsom and Dianne Feinstein.

On Tuesday, Socialist MP Bertalan Tóth and independent MP Tímea Szabó (who is a candidate on the joint MSZP – Párbeszéd list for the 8th April election) proposed an amendment to the election law that would require the sitting Hungarian prime minister to engage in two debates during national election campaigns. According to the proposal, both debates would be a minimum of 90 minutes in duration.

La Cámara alta aprobó una iniciativa con acuerdo de varios bloques para que desde la campaña 2019 los candidatos presidenciales que superen las PASO estén obligados a participar de dos debates públicos, uno en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires y otro en otra ciudad del país.
