Third Presidential Debate in Mexico

The National Electoral Institute (Instituto Nacional Electoral, INE) will host its third presidential debate at The Great Museum of the Mayan World (Gran Museo del Mundo Maya) in Mérida, Yucatán, on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 21:00 local time. The debate moderators will use questions for the candidates submitted by Mexican citizens via social media and focused on three main topics: economic growth, poverty and inequality; education, science and technology and sustainable development and climate change. This final debate of the campaign before the July 1 elections will be broadcast live on INE TV on Youtube, as well as on national television stations TV Azteca, Televisa and Cadena Tres.
