Mérida to host one of the presidential debates in June

In its first extraordinary session, the Temporary Committee of Debates of the National Electoral Institute (INE) approved the Basic Rules for holding debates between candidates for the Presidency of the Republic during the Federal Electoral Process 2017-2018, at the which is defined, among other aspects, the realization of three debates in Mexico City, Tijuana and Mérida, as well as the fundamental characteristics that moderation and citizen participation should observe.
